Stance: 80.
Parryable: Yes
Is vulnerable to a critical hit after being stance broken or parried
Damage: Slash, Magic
Inflicts: Frostbite
In Phase 2, all of its physical attacks do additional Magic damage and inflict Frostbite
Negations (or Absorptions).
Standard: 10
Slash: 10
Strike: 10
Pierce: 0
Magic: 0

The negation numbers are the of your damage that gets blocked.
For example, if a negation is 60, 40 of that damage by that type will go through and 60 will be negated.
Bigger number less damage.
A negation of 100 means no damage goes through, and a negation of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source.
0 means damage goes pretty much as is.

Ancient Hero of Zamor Fight Strategy
The Best Tips for Ancient Hero of Zamor:
Glintblade Phalanx and Glintstone Arc can work wonders as they often avoid projectiles.
Avoid relying on your shield, since it won't be very effective in Phase 2
Melee Users
Free Damage: At the beginning of the fight, run in and get in a few hits.
They'll often just dodge away once they're fully spawned, although they may also do a Spinning Swing.
It's up to you whether the risk is worth the extra damage.
You can get in free hits again while it's using Imbue Frost during the change from Phase 1 to Phase 2, which lasts 9 full seconds and doesn't do any damage.
Bait & Strike: Stay outside its swing radius to bait out distance-closing attacks like Leaping Slam and the double clockwise swing combo.
In Phase 2, Spring Forward and Triple Swing work as well.
These moves tend to have fairly long recovery times, so you can get in a hit or two before backing off again and repeating the process.
If you manage your distance well enough, you may also be able to run to the side and get in a hit when it uses Frost Breath as well.
Parrying: Most of this boss's sword swings are parryable (consult the Attacks & Counters chart for exact details), and it tends to have relatively telegraphed wind-ups.
If your timing is good, strap on a Buckler and this guy might be a breeze.
Magic and Ranged Users
Stand Back: The Ancient Hero's only fully ranged attack is Frost Breath, which is easy to dodge if you see it coming.
This makes it relatively straightforward to stand back and attack from a distance.
Just be wary of its distance-closing melee attacks, and keep enough stamina in reserve to dodge away once it tries to close in.
It can even be useful to try to stay a bit closer to bait out a slower attack like Spinning Swing or Zamor Ice Storm, and then punish it from afar.
Watch Your Elements: Faith users and archers should keep in mind this boss's weakness to Fire and Lightning damage.
Flame Sling and Firebone Arrows are good early options that can take advantage of this weakness.
Ancient Hero of Zamor Attacks & Counters
Attack
Description
Counter
Swing
Swings its sword in a variety of directions
Parry or dodge away and wait for the combo to end.
Blocking isn't recommended, because you'll still take Magic damage and build Frostbite in Phase 2. This is usually parriable, but not if the Hero swings while retreating
Spinning Swing
Crouches down and spins its sword around a full turn and a half
Roll away once, then come back and get in a few hits during the very long recovery
Leaping Slam
Jumps in the air and slams its sword down in front of it
Roll forward when you see the sword become vertical, then get in a hit during the long recovery
Frost Breath
Kneels down and blows a stream icy wind in in front of cone that gradually grows larger as it travels.
As soon as you see it kneel, run or jump to the side to avoid being in the area of effect.
If you're close enough, you can move to its side or back and get in some free hits while it does this attack
Frost Orb
Puts its left hand over its right shoulder and quickly creates a sphere of magic around it, knocking enemies back and dealing minor damage.
Roll away as soon as you see its arm move.
Take care not to get hit by this too much, as it gives considerable Frost build-up.
Imbue Frost
Once it goes below 60 health, it falls to its knees, then enchants its sword with frost magic before rising and twirling around, beginning Phase 2
Run towards and wail on it as much as you can, as it becomes much more aggressive once it switches phases.
Phase 2
Spring Forward
Kneels briefly, then leaps forward into a counterclockwise swing
Roll towards it once you see the sword start to fall, then get in a hit during recovery
Leaping Swings
Jumps into the air swinging its sword upwards, then swings it downwards as it falls
Roll to either side
Twiple Swing
Jumps into the air and swings its sword downwards and clockwise, then swings twice clockwise in quick succession once it lands
Roll away twice and then attack once it finishes its third swing
Ice Burst
Shoves its sword into the ground, then pulls it out creating a small burst of ice
There's enough time to get a hit in before it pulls out the sword if you're careful.
Otherwise, just keep your distance until the move is over.
Zamor Ice Storm
Builds up frost magic in its palm, then touches it to the ground to create a large whirlwind of ice that lasts a couple seconds
Although this has a long windup, it's very difficult to stagger it out of the attack so it's best to just leave when you see it charging up.
This is a great opportunity for getting in some ranged damage
: Attack can be parried
