Description
Black Knight is a Humanoid Enemy in Elden Ring. Black Knight is a new enemy that was exclusively added to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Black Knights are devoted followers of Messmer the Impaler and can be found throughout the Lands of ShadowRegion.
The Black Knights wear black iron helms decorated with gold and chestplates engraved with golden Scadutree motifs, a small consolation for those forced into a graceless and dishonorable war. They emanate a foul odor, perhaps from the tainted blood that coats them, or from their own corrupted souls decaying through endless slaughter.
Black Knight Edredd and Black Knight Garrew are Field Boss variants of this enemy. In addition, the spirit of a Black Knight can be summoned to aid in battle by using Black Knight Commander Andreas and Black Knight Captain Huw.
