Description

Spirit Eel is a Wildlife Creature in Elden Ring. It is a new enemy that was exclusively added to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Spirit Eels can be found in various locations, sticking out of the ground. They won't attack unless they are provoked. These creatures can easily be seen, with their distinctive sapphire-hued bodies protruding from the ground. They are harmless when left undisturbed.

- This points a source of inspiration, an animal called Heteroconger hass (Spotted garden eel).
Face of this creature is probably inspired by Kodama, a Japanese forest spirit.
