Additional Fight Strategy

The Best Tips for Borealis the Freezing Fog:

  • Fight him during the day for better visibility. He creates a persistent blizzard in the area, making it difficult to see at times.

  • Use a Strike weapon to take advantage of Borealis's weakness.

  • Bring along Thawfrost Boluses to alleviate frost buildup and consider equipping the Stalwart Horn Charm.

  • Using ranged weapons like Bows makes fighting him easier, as his breath attacks have limited range and are easy to avoid, and he doesn't have moves to quickly close into melee. In particular, Mighty Shot or Enchanted Shot to his head can deal good consistent damage. Alternatively, Rain of Arrows or Radahn's Rain can deal massive damage per volley due to his size.
