Godrick Knight

Godrick Knights are Humanoid enemies in Elden Ring. Godrick Knights wield large, heavy melee Weapons and protect themselves with Greatshields and full Body Armor.

Godrick Knights can be found in the following locations:

• One knight can be found patrolling the road at Gatefront RuinsLandmark in LimgraveRegion. [Map Link]

• At a camp in StormhillLandmark, found by following the road northeast from Warmaster's ShackGrace

• A mounted Godrick Knight can be found in StormhillLandmark, patrolling the top of the cliff northeast of the Warmaster's ShackGrace [Map Link]

  • This knight uses the Ash of War: Golden Vow and will drop the Ash of War when defeated the first time.

• A unique, non-respawning knight can be found at the top of Fort HaightLandmark, in the Weeping PeninsulaRegion [Map Link]

  • This knight uses the Ash of War: Bloody Slash and will drop the Ash of War when defeated.

• One knight mounted on horseback can be found near the Tower of ReturnLandmark in the Weeping PeninsulaRegion

• Melee Combat: Using piercing damage, parrying, and quick step are effective against them. A counter attack can work but you need a long reaching weapon. A heavy attack from a sword that does a pierce animation should work but it's too short and can be slow; finding a spear or a thrusting weapon should help.

• Godrick Knights wielding Knight's Greatswords have the typical sword-wielding knight moveset, but with an additional vertical slam attack. While it is possible to parry this attack, it can be dangerous, since they are capable of delaying the downswing.

• Godrick Knights wielding Partisans have the typical spear-wielding knight moveset, but with the addition of a charging attack while holding their guard up. This charging attack metes out multiple hits, making it dangerous to block, but it can be reliably parried to open them up to a riposte.
