Head past it and down the road to the west, keeping right at the fork, to the Dragonbarrow ForkGrace Site of Grace before turning back and fighting the Avatar.
From the Ordina, Liturgical TownGrace Site of Grace, head east towards the Minor ErdtreeErdtree. Once you reach it, turn north; the Avatar is in a small clearing. [Map Link]

Putrid Avatar Attacks & Counters
| Attack | Description | Counter |
| Putrid Avatar shares most of its attacks and counters with Erdtree Avatar | ||
| Rotted Slam | Jumps in the air and slams the ground with its whole body, releasing a cloud of Scarlet Rot in front of it | Mostly dodged the same as Erdtree Avatar's Erdtree Slam, but make sure you end up behind it, since the Rot only goes in front |
