Bow

Bows are a type of Weapon in Elden Ring. Bows are two-handed ranged weapons that can be used to inflict damage on enemies from afar. They grant no guard protection, encouraging users to maintain distance from advancing enemies. Bows require Arrows as ammunition.

Bows can be given new Ashes of War, but cannot be greased, spell-buffed, or given new affinities.

The applicable Ashes of War for Bows are Mighty Shot, Enchanted Shot, Sky Shot, and Rain of Arrows.

Bows deal Pierce Damage with their ammunition, though this is not reflected in their weapon descriptions.

The Black Bow and Ansbach's Longbow behave differently from other bows; each featuring the same moveset as light bows.

Shadow of the Erdtree, the expansion for Elden Ring, adds only 1 bow, Ansbach's Longbow.
