These Bolts are used by heavily armed soldiers at great range and inflict high damage. The extra damage this ammunition deals over the regular Bolt isn't enough to justify it for regular use given it must be farmed to be acquired, instead it should be saved for Boss encounters, PVP, or emergencies.
