Opaline Hardtear

A crystal tear formed slowly over ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground. Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. The resulting concoction temporarily boosts all forms of damage negation.

Dropped by Putrid Avatar next to the Minor ErdtreeErdtree north of Fort FarothGrace in CaelidRegion. Increases all damage negation types by 15 for 3 minutes. The bonus is reduced to 10 in PvP. Can stack with other sources of protections (talismans, consumables). When paired with Boiled Crab and either Dragoncrest Shield Talisman or Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman can grant - with proper armor - even 60 damage negation towards physical-type damage. You can find Crystal Tears at the bases of Minor ErdtreeErdtrees, and elsewhere throughout the Lands Between. At sites of grace, you can mix two crystal tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. (This will allow you to create elixirs with various custom effects. )
