Thorny Cracked Tear

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground. Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. The resulting concoction makes consecutive attacks grow stronger the longer they continue. However, the effect lasts only for a short time.

Increases attack power relative to the number of attacks you land. Has three tiers of attack power increase. Tiers decay to lower tiers when not attacking fast enough. Number of hits needed to activate effect varies based on attacks used. Decay duration: 1.5 seconds. For each tier, attack power increases by 9 , 13 , and 20.. The attack power boost also affects the damage of certain Spells. Attacks contribute to a hidden point system called AccumuVal, which triggers the tier boosts at specific point values. Thorny Cracked Tear has triggers for the AccumuVal point values 17 / 30 / 45 / 60 for each tier respectively (60 just extends the third tier). Different attacks (mostly with physical hitboxes) give different number of points. Some spells also count (e. g Carian Slicer, Dragonmaw). Also note that some physical attacks may not provide points, as is the case with Spinning Wheel.
