Blaidd Questline

Blaidd, the half-wolf companion, offers a fascinating questline intertwined with Ranni the Witch's journey. Follow these steps to uncover his story and reap the rewards:

Start in Mistwood:

1. Hear his howl: In the Mistwood Ruins, listen for a wolf howling, especially near the tallest point.

2. Talk to Merchant Kale: Upon hearing the howl, consult Merchant Kale in the Church of Elleh. He'll teach you the Finger Snap gesture.

3. Summon Blaidd: Use the Finger Snap gesture near the highest point in the Mistwood Ruins. Blaidd will descend, seeking Darriwil.

4. Darriwil awaits: Learn about Darriwil, a Bloodhound Knight imprisoned in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in South Limgrave.

5. Fight at the Evergaol: Summon Blaidd to aid you in defeating Darriwil within the Evergaol.

6. Reward: Earn a Somber Smithing Stone (2) from Blaidd after the fight.

Caria Manor connection:

1. Speak again: Talk to Blaidd at the Evergaol entrance after the battle. He mentions heading to Caria Manor.

2. Ranni's quest: Progress Ranni's questline by activating the Carian Grand Lift. Speak to Blaidd outside Ranni's Rise.

3. Siofra River: He directs you to Seluvis in Ranni's Rise, leading to a task involving Sorceress Sellen.

4. Seek Sellen: Find Sellen imprisoned in the ruins near the Siofra River Well in Mistwood. Release her.

5. Blaidd awaits: Return to Sellen's location and find Blaidd standing near the wind jump point.

Radahn's Festival:

1. Redmane Castle: Encounter Blaidd within Redmane Castle before the Radahn Festival. Summon him for the epic battle.
