Sorceress Sellen Questline

This walkthrough details the steps involved in the Sellen questline, including key choices and rewards at each stage.

Quest Start:

• You can first encounter Sellen imprisoned in the Waypoint RuinsLandmark dungeon in LimgraveRegion.
• Defeat the Mad Pumpkin Head guarding her cell to unlock her.
• Speak to Sellen and choose the option to learn sorcery from her.

Early Choices:

• Sellen teaches Sorceries and sells spells. Her initial inventory includes Glintstone Pebble, Glintstone Stars, Glintstone Arc, and Scholar's Armament.
• Progress through the game and acquire the Glintstone Key from Raya Lucaria AcademyDungeon.
• Return to Sellen and she'll ask you to find Master Lusat.

Lusat's Location:

• Travel to Sellia Crystal TunnelGrace in CaelidRegion. Head north of the site of grace and find the hidden door at the cliff edge.
• Activate the lever inside the hidden passage to open the path to Sellia HideawayGrace.
• Defeat Lusat and acquire his Glintstone Staff.

Back to Sellen:

• Bring Lusat's Glintstone Staff to Sellen.
• She offers further instruction in advanced sorcery and her spell inventory expands with spells like Carian Piercer and Carian Greatsword.

Optional Step: Blaidd and Rennala:

• Speak to Blaidd in Siofra RiverDungeon and tell him about Sellen's request.
• He suggests attending Radahn Festival to find Rennala's Great Rune.
• Defeat Rennala in Raya Lucaria AcademyDungeon to obtain her Great Rune.

Sellen's Deception:

• Later in the game, you'll meet Preceptor Seluvis at Seluvis's RiseLandmark in Liurnia.
• He offers an alternative questline involving Sellen, claiming she's a dangerous impostor.
• Choosing his questline will ultimately lead to you fighting and killing Sellen.

Sellen's True Ending:

• Alternatively, ignore Seluvis and continue Sellen's questline.
• After defeating Radahn, she'll ask you to find Rennala's other half (the Great Rune).
• Travel to the Grand Library of Ranni's RiseGrace in Liurnia and defeat Rennala's projection to acquire the other half.
• Bring it back to Sellen and she reveals her true identity as Primeval Glintstone.
• She grants you access to her Primal Glintstone, allowing you to transplant her soul into a new body later in the game.

Rewards:

• Throughout the questline, you gain access to various Sorceries and spells from Sellen's inventory.
• Completing Sellen's true ending rewards her Bell Bearing, allowing you to purchase more unique Sorceries from the Twin Maiden Husks.
• Sellen's Primal Glintstone can be used later in the game to revive her in a new body, though this doesn't have any further gameplay impacts.

Important Note:

• Choosing Seluvis's questline locks you out of completing Sellen's true ending and acquiring her unique rewards.
