Rogier, a fellow Tarnished and sorcerer, plays a minor role's story but offers valuable lore and interesting interactions. Follow his questline for insights into the death of Godwyn the Golden and Ranni's ambitions.

Note: Completing parts of Ranni's questline can lock you out of certain steps in Rogier's, so proceed with caution!

Steps:

1. Stormveil Castle:

• Encounter Rogier as a summonable spirit for the Margit boss fight.
• Meet him in person in a chapel on the ramparts after defeating Godrick.

* He gives you Rogier's Rapier +8 and mentions searching for clues about the death of Godwyn.

2. Roundtable Hold:

• After defeating Godrick, you'll find Rogier resting on the balcony overlooking the hall.
• Speak with him to learn about the Black Knives and his search for their leader.
• He mentions receiving a message from Fia about a potential lead.

3. Black Knife Catacombs:

• Activate the Site of Grace near the entrance.
• Speak to Fia in the nearby alcove about the Black Knives.

* She'll ask you to retrieve the Black Knifeprint from the catacombs.

• Locate the Black Knife Assassin boss and defeat them to obtain the Knifeprint.

4. Back to Rogier:

• Give the Knifeprint to Rogier at the Roundtable HoldLandmark.
• He'll express gratitude and delve deeper into the Godwyn conspiracy.

5. Caria Manor:

• Progress through Caria ManorDungeon and reach the Three SistersLandmark area.
• Speak with Ranni the Witch inside Ranni's RiseGrace.
• Report back to Rogier about Ranni's involvement in the conspiracy (optional).

6. Rogier's Fate:

• Depending on your progress, Rogier's story can diverge:

* If you haven't met Blaidd or Seluvis in Ranni's Rise, he'll die of illness upon fast traveling from the Roundtable Hold. You can obtain his Armor Set and Bell Bearing from his body.

* If you have met Blaidd and Seluvis, he'll fall into a slumber like Ranni after you complete specific steps in her questline. His fate remains unclear.

Rewards:

• Rogier's Rapier +8
• Black Knifeprint (if you give it to Rogier)
• Rogier's Set (if he dies)
• Rogier's Bell Bearing (if he dies)

Additional Notes:
