Carmaan was a notably formidable perfumer whose strength rivaled that of heroes, and it is said that he was in search of a secret physick of revivification.

Located on a corpse in Volcano ManorGrace that is near the top of Mt. GelmirRegion, west of Altus PlateauGrace. Finding these ashes involves beginning the Volcano ManorGrace questline. Once inside the manor talk to Lady Tanith and agree to receive the drawing-room key which opens the doors in the hallway to the right. In the room opposite to a bolted shut door is an illusionary wall that hides the secret passage leading you around the manor's perimeter into the locked room that hides the corpse holding the ashes.
