Ailment Talisman

A talisman depicting a soul taken by sickness. When certain ailments are triggered, this talisman grants resistance to the same ailment.

When the weak were infected with the dreaded fly sickness, they perished well before the metamorphosis could take hold.

Oddly, those who cared for the infected and made certain they were given a proper burial were never afflicted themselves.

Where to find Ailment Talisman:

• The Ailment Talisman can be looted from a corpse. The body can be found lying at the edge of an unfinished wooden bridge of the Abandoned Ailing VillageLandmark. [Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Interactive Map]

• Sell Value: 500

• Boosts your resistance stats by about 350 for a short amount of time after a Status Effect is applied to you.

  • Poison / Scarlet Rot resistance last for 120 seconds

  • Frostbite resistance lasts for 45 seconds

  • Hemorrhage, Sleep, and Madness resistance last for 30 seconds

• Death Blight is not affected, as once procced it notably kills the Player.

• NOTE: Patch 1.13 After the onset of a status ailment, the status buildup (or duration) of said ailment will now also be reduced immediately by a certain amount.
