• This talisman is useful for builds that guard with a shield or utilize the Deflecting Hardtear.

• There is also merit to guard counters with two-handed weapons as this talisman can be paired with the Two-Handed Sword Talisman.

• Weapons with unique guard counters include the Black Steel Greathammer, Bloodfiend's Arm, and the Backhand Blades.

• Guard counters often hit an enemy as they are attacking, pairing well with the Spear Talisman to enhance counterhit pierce damage.
