Notes
Stargazer's Ruins in Mountaintops of the GiantsRegion: Found in a chest in an underground area near the center of the ruins. The entrance is sealed by a barrier and there is a talking Jellyfish outside who is looking for her sister. Summon your Spirit Jellyfish that you acquired at the beginning of the game to unlock the seal. Sell Value: 2000. The -25 spell FP roughly translates to 33.3 spell FP efficiency. The increase in FP efficiency means the effective value of FP-restoring items, such as Flask of Cerulean Tears, Assassin's Cerulean Dagger, Ancestral Spirit's Horn, Sacrificial Axe, and Sword of Milos, is also increased, as you are able to cast more spells with the amount of flat FP restored. At 50 Vigor (1704 HP), this talisman's -15 (1704HP 0.85 1448HP) effectively reduces Vigor to 40 (1450HP). At 60 Vigor (1900 HP) it reduces HP to 1615, the equivalent of 47 Vigor. Due to the diminishing returns on the amount of HP provided by levels of Vigor beyond its soft caps at 40 and 60, the more Vigor the character has the more equivalent levels they lose to the 15 reduction. At 33 Mind (189 FP), this talisman's 33.3 efficiency (189FP 1.33 252FP) effectively increases Mind to 42 (248FP). At 50 Mind (300 FP) it increases FP to 400, the equivalent of 80 Mind (401 FP). Mind provides a relatively flat amount of FP beyond its soft cap at 60 compared to Vigor and HP, but the more Mind the character has the more equivalent levels they gain from the 33 efficiency. Using the above points, this talisman will grant the highest amount of effective levels to characters who are already at high levels of Mind and lower levels of Vigor. At low levels of Mind and high levels of Vigor, this talisman will be less effective than redistributing levels from Vigor into Mind. Without any other changes to HP and FP, you need 26 Vigor (833 HP) to accept all the HP from a Flask of Crimson Tears 12 (810 HP) and 38 Mind (221 FP) to accept all the FP from a Flask of Cerulean Tears 12 (220 FP). With a Primal Glintstone Blade equipped, you must increase your Vigor to 30 (994HP 0.85 844HP) to fully consume a crimson flask, but your effective spell FP is increased (221FP 1.33 294) to be on par with 49 Mind (293 FP). This is a 4 level investment for an 11 level return, or a net gain of 7 levels.
