Cane Sword

Beloved sword of an aged knight whose last quest was long behind
him, repurposed into a walking stick. The tip is rather worn.

Though bent of back and without the brawn required even to
raise the sword aloft, still he wished to meet his end with weapon
in hand.

• Leyndell, Royal CapitalDungeon, West Capital RampartGrace Site of Grace: Go south out of the room with the site of grace and down the flight of stairs to the floor underneath, make a complete U-turn in the room with the stairs to find a corpse with the sword. [Map link] [Video location]

• The item can still be acquired in Leyndell, Ashen CapitalDungeon. From the Leyndell, Capital of AshGrace Site of Grace, head west towards the dragon corpse's wing. Behind the wing, climb inside the broken wall, climb the ladder and keep going until you meet the same flight of stairs. Make a U-turn in the room down the stairs and the sword can be looted from the corpse at the end of the room.

• Weapon Skill: Square Off

• This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War.

• Can be buffed by Magic or Consumables

• Cane Sword can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.

• This weapon has the same one-handed R2 as the Broadsword.

• Possesses a unique rolling attack.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, Straight Swords poise damage has been reduced only on PVP.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below. Additionally, the running attack speed, first attack speed and speed of guard counter of straight sword has increased. The attack recovery time has also decreased.

• NOTE: Patch 1.13 Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks of all Straight Swords (in PVP)
