Coil Shield

The following location: The Coil Shield is located on a body in Volcano CaveGrace, northeast of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir CampsiteGrace Site of Grace in Mt. Gelmir. From the cave grace, head into the large open room. From there, take the right-most tunnel (northwest) and follow it to the end. Drop down onto the small cliff below. Turn around and go into the tunnel. The shield will be on a body in the room ahead. Note: There will be an ambush of enemies, so you may want to clear the room first. Shield Skill: Viper Bite. Update 1.07 changed this skill to inflict deadly poison instead of normal poison. From stealth this skill does not appear to cause aggro until after poison is applied (full buildup). Once applied, it then does a burst of damage, and the enemy is aggroed. This shield cannot be infused with Ashes of War Can be buffed by defensive Magic or Consumables The Coil Shield can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones. Even though the Viper Bite skill applies deadly poison, attacking with the shield itself inflicts normal poison. Sell Value: 100 the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
