as a spear while still being capable of performing slashing attacks.

• This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War

• Cross-Naginata can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones

• This weapon has a unique moveset compared to other spears, as its attacks are both thrust and slash attacks.

• A naginata is a type of Japanese polearm with a curved blade nearly as long as its handle, used primarily by samurai. Its name means "mowing-hatchet", referring to how the weapon was originally modeled after a farming tool of similar design.

• Note: As of Patch 1.08, poise damage of all Spears has been reduced for PVP.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
