Dragonscale Blade

A weapon made by sharpening a Gravel Stone scale,
thought to be the source of ancient dragon immortality,
into an unclouded blade.

Alas, the Dragonkin Soldiers never attained immortality,
and perished as decrepit, pale imitations of their skyborn kin.

The Dragonscale Blade weapon can be found at the following location:

• Weapon Skill: Ice Lightning Sword

• This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War

• Can't be enchanted with Magic nor boosted by Consumables

• Dragonscale Blade can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones

• Deals +20% damage against Dragon type enemies

• Deals +10% damage against Ancient Dragon type enemies

• Note: Dragons typically have high resistance to Slash damage, which the Dragonscale Blade's move-set consists almost entirely of. As a result, these bonuses serve only to counteract these resistances, and you may find other weapons more effective for your dragon-slaying ventures.

• Ice Lightning Sword imbues the weapon with additional Lightning damage (160), and Frostbite buildup (80), for 45 seconds.

• Sell Value: 500 Runes.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, Katanas poise damage has been reduced only on PVP.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

• NOTE: Patch 1.13 Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks of all Katanas (in PVP)
