Glintstone Kris

Ritual blade once presented to LeyndellRegion by the Academy of Raya Lucaria to celebrate their newfound peace.

Though the weapon is embedded with precious glintstones and features Erdtree ornamentation, the undulating blade is symbolic of an ancient ritual.

The Glintstone Kris weapon can be found at the following location:

• Rewarded to players for progressing through the Sorceress Sellen questline and siding with her.

• Weapon Skill: Glintstone Dart

• This weapon can't be infused with Ashes of War

• Cannot be enchanted with Magic nor buffed by Consumables

• Glintstone Kris can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones

• The Skill can be delayed, and the follow up attack has a long reach for the weapon archetype

• The critical value is lower than some other daggers, meaning for critical strikes a magic or cold affinity dagger would deal more damage.

• This weapon has thrusting attacks for R2s that it shares with the Main-gauche and Misericorde.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed and distance of some attacks has been increased and the recovery time has been reduced.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

• The Weapon Art can consistently outperform Comet in terms of raw damage at 70 intelligence with the Carian Regal Scepter and no boosting talismans or armors. Combined with having a critical modifier, this dagger is a very potent sidearm for pure int and dex-int hybrids.

• A kris (pronounced like "crease"), is a Javanese dagger used in the pencak silat family of Indonesian martial arts.
