Golden Beast Crest Shield

Shield of dull gold with a beast engraved as its crest. Lighter than
most greatshields, and subsequently easier to wield.

The beast depicted is Serosh, aged counselor who guides the
golden lineage.

The Golden Beast Crest Shield can be found at the following location:

• Dropped by the Grafted Scion in the Chapel of AnticipationLandmark. [Elden Ring Map here]

• Note: Players can return to the Chapel of AnticipationLandmark later in the game and still get the shield.

• Shield Skill: No Skill

• This shield can be infused with Ashes of War

• Can be buffed by defensive Magic or Consumables

• Golden Beast Crest Shield can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.

• Sell Value: 200

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

• Bears resemblance to the Battersea Shield, an ancient Celtic sheet bronze covering for a wooden shield, though it lacks the center circular engraving.
