Shield fashioned from a great turtle shell. The natural curve
helps it contend with foes' attacks.
The turtle is a symbol of tirelessness, and this shield
boosts stamina recovery speed.

Great Turtle Shell is reminiscent of a reoccurring group of stamina-boosting medium shields that have appeared in the Dark Souls series. First there was the Grass Crest Shield in Dark Souls, the Blossom Kite Shield, Shield of the Insolent, and Slumbering Dragon Shield in Dark Souls 2, and last the Grass Crest Shield in Dark Souls 3.
