Can be buffed with Magic or Consumables Hand Axe can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones. Utilizes the light axe moveset, similar to the Forked Hatchet and Icerind Hatchet. This moveset is significantly faster than the normal axe moveset. Makes for a useful offhand weapon in close quarters. At 80 Strength with Heavy infusion, the Hand Axe has 594 AR while one-handing and 636 AR while two-handing. Sell Value: 100 the recovery time has been reduced. Also the stagger damage of Axes' guard counters has been increased. PVP's poise damage has also been reduced with this patch. NOTE: the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
