It can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones. This weapon has a unique R2 that unfolds the blade. The shortest Curved Sword in terms of regular hitboxes, but it's charged heavy attacks are actually the longest of all curved swords due to its unique property where the folded in blade snaps forward.
