Weapon used by the soldiers who serve Messmer the Impaler. A steel axe, worn from use. A favorite of those who lost themselves utterly in their lord's war. Capable of performing powerful charge attacks.

The following location: Has a 2 chance to be dropped by the Messmer Soldiers that wield it. Weapon Skill: War Cry. This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War. Can be buffed by Magic or Consumables Messmer Soldier's Axe can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones This weapon shares a moveset with the Warped Axe, which utilizes both blades of the axe for faster follow-up attacks. The charged heavy attacks of this weapon have a higher motion value than other axes, true to the weapon's description. This usually leads to this axe's charged attacks dealing the most damage in its class, despite having lower attack power than some other axes. The 1h charged heavy attack has a motion value of 203, while most other axes have a MV of 183. NOTE:. the recovery time has been reduced. Also the stagger damage of Axes' guard counters has been increased. PVP's poise damage has also been reduced with this patch. NOTE: the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
