Dropped by Miners. Fastest farming route is going to the Limgrave TunnelsGrace, go to the second tunnel that leads to boss that's behind the first elevator shaft. There's a Stakes of Marika nearby. Kill the five Miners in the tunnel then jump down the elevator shaft and die. Respawn at the Stake to reset the Miners. Rinse and repeat. Make sure you pick up your runes between each suicide. Weapon Skill: Endure. This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War. Can be buffed with Magic or Consumables Pickaxe can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones The Pickaxe can't be used to powerstance with other great hammers but can be used to powerstance with greataxes. Has a unique R2 attack, a heavy overhead strike similar to the Great Club R2. The combination of Pierce Damage and the poise damage of great hammers can be quite effective with ashes of war such as Lion's Claw, Cragblade, or Wild Strikes.
