The Rift Shield can be found at the following location:

• Starting Equipment for the Prisoner Class.

• Can be purchased from the Nomadic Merchant located in Liurnia of the LakesRegion. It costs 1,800 Runes. [Map Link]

• Shield Skill: Parry

• This shield can be infused with Ashes of War

• Can be buffed by defensive Magic or Consumables

• The Rift Shield can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.

• Increases Focus stat passively by 40.

• The madness and sleep bars seem to go up a bit when you equip it: they aren't, it's just how the game handles expanding the bars themselves.

• Sell Value: 100

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

The Rift Shield can be modified by Ashes of War. Click below for a list of all possible Ashes of War that can be applied to the small shield.
