Short Spear

An exceedingly plain spear of modest weight.

Simple to wield compared to many of its peers, its strong attack unleashes a series of successive piercing thrusts.

The Short Spear weapon can be found at the following location:

• Starting Equipment for the Prophet Class.

• Can be purchased from Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable HoldLandmark for 600 Runes.

• Drops from Godrick, Radahn, and Leyndell Foot Soldiers.

• An easy way to farm them is to start from Agheel Lake NorthGrace's site of grace, follow the path that goes southeast towards the bridge next to the lake. After the bridge, turn left and continue on the path that branches north, and you'll quickly run into two Godrick Foot Soldiers with Short Spears (only the spear ones can drop it). They're slowly patrolling, so if you take very long to get there, you might not find them at their initial location, resting at a site of grace resets their location.

• Has a 4.00% chance to drop from Messmer Foot Soldier

• Weapon Skill: Impaling Thrust

• This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War.

• Can be buffed by Magic or Consumables

• Short Spear can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.

• This weapon has a special R2, shared by the Cleanrot Spear.

• Sell Value: 100 Runes.

• Note: As of Patch 1.08, poise damage of all Spears has been reduced for PVP.

• NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

• NOTE: Patch 1.13 Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks of all Spears (in PVP)
