Guardians' GarrisonLandmark: There are several Thorn Sorcerers on the slope leading up to the garrison. Liurnia of the LakesRegion: The Thorn Sorcerer that drops Briars of Sin to the northwest of the Artist's ShackLandmark site of grace has a low chance to drop this staff. Weapon Skill: No Skill. This weapon can be infused with the Ash of War: Spinning Weapon. Can't be buffed by Magic or Consumables. Staff of the Guilty can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones. Does not scale with intelligence, though any spell's minimum required intelligence is still needed when using the staff. Boosts the damage of Thorn Sorceries by 20 . Thorn sorceries include Briars of Punishment, Briars of Sin, and Impenetrable Thorns. Due to its subpar scaling, this staff is best used in the off-hand while power-stancing with the Albinauric Staff in the main hand, which scales with Arcane and thus boosts the bleed buildup of the thorn sorceries. On the other hand, for pure Faith builds with more than 60 Faith and low Intelligence stat, this staff is invaluable for casting thorn sorceries in terms of raw damage output. At 80 Faith, the Staff of the Guilty has 305 Sorcery Scaling. Sell Value: 100. Base drop rate is 2 (at 100 Discovery). NOTE: the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
