• Looted off a corpse that's on the guardhouse of the heavily guarded courtyard. The nearest checkpoint is the Liftside ChamberGrace site of grace

• This shield can be infused with Ashes of War

• Can be buffed by defensive Magic or Consumables

• The Wooden Greatshield can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.

• It is the lightest Greatshield in the game, tied with the Jellyfish Shield.

• For those wondering why you'd take this over a "heavy" medium shield with similar weight and stat requirements, greatshields have a special property of making strong enemies recoil in shock when they hit the shield, giving you an opening to attack. Medium and Small shields are limited in what attacks will cause an enemy to flinch, so this has a niche use of a low strength/weight greatshield.
